In 1953, Rev. J. Harold Smith envisioned using the new technology of television to spread the message of hope and redemption to the River Valley. Today, under the leadership of our pastor, Dale Thompson, the legacy of ministering to our community through the medium of television and radio continues.
We are excited to announce that Fort Smith's First Baptist Church is now broadcasting live on the internet each Sunday to a world-wide audience! We now have the potential to reach millions of people around the world with the timeless and life changing message of Jesus Christ.
As we all know, the internet has changed many aspects of our lives, not all for the good. We want to be a light of hope in a dark and dying world and carry on the vision set forth over 50 years ago.
