How do I join Fort Smith’s First Baptist Church?
We receive new members in one of these three ways:
- BY BAPTISM: For those who have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and desire to identify with Him through scriptural baptism.
- BY LETTER FROM ANOTHER BAPTIST CHURCH: For those who have already received Jesus, have been scripturally baptized by immersion after salvation, and are members in good standing of another Southern Baptist church.
- BY STATEMENT OF FAITH: For those who are saved and have been scripturally baptized by immersion after salvation, but are not members of another Baptist church.
What is the process for joining?
At the conclusion of each worship service we extend an invitation for you to receive Christ and/or join First Baptist Church. Staff and trained volunteers are available to help answer your questions and assist you in completing a membership profile.
